  • WOW! Wild Outdoor Wolfeboro
Start your Spring off right!  Take part in this town-wide and state wide scavenger hunt! Download a score sheet, start doing the assigned activities, mark down your points, document your adventures with photos and videos, and win great prizes: Abenaki and Pop Whalen day passes, T-shirts and more sponsored prizes to be announced soon!

The idea is simple: complete tasks and adventures designed to get you outside and having fun this summer. Do it on your own schedule, at your own pace. Catch a fish, take a swim lesson, sleep out under the stars and find your favorite swimming hole. Try surfing or go kayak camping, or build a shelter in the woods and spend the night in it. They all count! Rack up your points and race your friends and family to complete the challenge.

We are down to the last 25 pieces!!!! Only 100 were made! $20 each!  All profit goes to Friends of Abenaki to help with building a timing/storage shed at Abenaki.  The New Lodge is up and the old lodge was torn down in April.  We were able to salvage some great pieces of wood and have a picture of the old lodge on it with the years it was in service.

  • Senior Citizen Softball League.

If you're looking to stay active and socialize after retirement, look no further.
Softball is a social game that is easily learned. You do not have to be in perfect shape to participate. Winning is OK but the focus is to have fun and stay safe in a judgment-free environment.
This group has changed the base layout and rules to prevent collisions and accidents and will allow players to have substitute runners.
Games will be played at The Nick in the morning. If you are interested in playing, contact Klavs Landberg at Klavs@metrocast.net or 321-6844.
  • 10th annual Nick Golf Classic at Lake Winnipesaukee Golf Club on Monday, July 17. The tournament format will be ‘two best ball, net and gross’ and will begin with a shotgun start of 1 p.m.
